Pegasus Explosion wins silver at the Challenge Cup in Owen Sound.  The team played with focus and determination throughout the day.  We started off with  convincing wins against the host team Bluewater Blizzards and the Northumberland Breakers to finish 1st in our pool. Great passing allowed us to successfully execute our offensive plays and exceptional serving from both Gabby and Alex was instrumental in our wins.  Of course we cannot forget to mention Katie's kick A__ block!!  Or Amber and Gabby's huge back row kills.  Lisa and Nicole played amazing in the middle and Alex smoothly  transitioned between middle and right side.  Tessa was a digging machine when she wasn't hitting RS.  Assisted by outstanding setting from Aislyn our LS hitting from Amber, Gabby and Katie enabled the team to sail into the semi final match where they met the Peterborough Thunder in a thrilling 3 setter.  We lost the first set 13-25 and then rebounded to win 27-25 and 16-14 thanks to Amber's high pressure service aces for the 15th and 16th points of the 3rd set.  Unfortunately the gold medal was not to be ours as we faltered against a very determined and vocal Aurora Storm team.  Well done ladies!!
